Dr. Bordbar graduated from University of Southampton School of Medicine with a BMBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree and a Masters in Medical Sciences. He later completed a two year Foundation Training programme as a junior doctor at Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where he gained experience in various medical and surgical specialties. His passion for primary care led him to undertake his General Practice training at Dorset County Hospital where he further developed his skills working at various departments such as Accident &Emergency, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Ophthalmology. 


 


In his free time he enjoys exploring the Dorset countryside with his fiancé and their young family dog.

Dr Fornai joined the practice in March 2019 and works Tuesday mornings and Thursdays. Originally from Weymouth, she trained at Southampton University and then at Dorset County Hospital before moving to Hampshire. She has recently returned to the area and is pleased to be back by the sea!

Dr Holly Benham

Dr Benham trained as GP at Wyke in 2006- 2007. Since then she has worked all over Dorset. As well as working in Wyke, she also works in Portland. Dr Benham works as a professional artist alongside her life as a doctor and lives with husband and dog.

Registrar GPs

We are a training practice for doctors who wish to work in General Practice. These are fully qualified doctors working under our supervision; please accept them as a valued addition to the team. Part of this training will necessitate that on occasions there will be video recording of patient consultations. This will not take place without a patient’s consent and any intimate physical examination will not be recorded. The camera will be switched off on request.

Locum GPs

When necessary we do use locum cover for doctors who are on leave, for professional reasons or when attending meetings/seminars.
